Together Housing Group is seeking an Electrician to join our Repairs & Maintenance team in Huddersfield, covering the Calderdale area. You will provide all types of electrical repairs to tenanted and vacant properties with a customer‑service driven repair and maintenance service.

The role operates on a 4 on/4 off shift pattern with 12‑hour weekdays and 7.5‑hour weekends. The starting salary is £43,109, with a fully equipped van shared with another colleague and access to the Local Government

Formación

• Electrical qualification – NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Knowledge of BS7671:2018 requirements.
• 2391/2394 Testing & Inspection.
• Full UK Manual driving licence.
• Experience as Electrician/Electrical Technician in building services.
• Relevant post-qualification experience.
• Experience in customer service environment.
• Experience maximizing repairs completed per visit.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out electrical repairs in tenanted and vacant properties.
• Aim for Right First Time repairs in one visit where possible.
• Organise work to minimise lost time and reallocate workload.
• Overtime and standby/call-out rota as required.
• Diagnose faults and obtain approvals for complex/expensive repairs.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and safety procedures.
