Job summary

Bromford is seeking an Electrician to perform maintenance, repairs and installations across domestic and commercial properties, with a focus on quality work, a stable schedule and strong long-term security.

You’ll receive a company van, tools, fuel card, uniform, tablet and phone, plus a generous benefits package including 27 days leave, pension contributions, wellbeing support and discounts. On-call rota adds £864 per week.

Qualifications

• Experience with planned preventative maintenance across domestic and commercial properties.
• Ability to fault-find on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), repairs, and installations across domestic and commercial properties.
• Maintaining and fault-finding on electrical and mechanical systems, including boiler controls, pumps, communal lighting, hot water systems, and HVAC units.
• Completing rewiring, testing, and inspections to ensure systems are safe and compliant.
• Diagnosing issues quickly and delivering high-quality, efficient repairs.
• Managing materials, recording work accurately, and working safely in line with regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring homes are safe and fit for purpose.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Proficiency with IT systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• A Basic DBS Check (arranged by BFL)
