Randstad CPE seeks an experienced Maintenance Electrician (Domestic) to service residential properties in and around Southampton. The role focuses on electrical repairs, fault-finding, testing, and safe, compliant installations within a local in-house team.

The ideal candidate holds C&G 2330 and 2382, with a full UK licence and a proven customer-facing track record. On-call duties and use of smartphones/PDA are required; a 2391/2394/2395 certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• C&G 2330 (or equivalent) and C&G 2382 (18th Edition).
• Full UK Driver's Licence.
• Proven track record in domestic fault-finding, repairs, and customer-facing service.
• Willingness to participate in an Emergency Out-of-Hours rota.
• Comfortable using smartphone/PDA applications for daily workflows.
• Desirable: C&G 2391 (or 2394/2395) Inspection & Testing certification.
• Candidates must pass Face-Fit testing for safety masks.

• Testing & Certification: Carry out EICRs, PAT testing, and issue Electrical Installation / Minor Works certificates.
• Safety & Compliance: Work strictly to current BS 7671 (Part P) regulations and report urgent H&S defects directly to the Qualifying Supervisor.
• Job Management: Log jobs digitally via mobile/PDA and manage van stock accurately.
