Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician (Domestic) for Southampton to service local residential properties. You will perform repairs, fault-finding, and refurbishments while maintaining high customer satisfaction and safety standards.

The role requires C&G 2330 and 2382 (18th Edition) qualifications, a full UK driving licence, and willingness to participate in an out-of-hours rota. You will use a smartphone/PDA to log tasks and access job details.

Qualifications

• Certification in C&G 2330 or equivalent.
• C&G 2382 (18th Edition) certification.
• Full UK Driver's Licence.
• Experience in domestic fault-finding, repairs and customer-facing service.
• Willingness to participate in an Emergency Out-of-Hours rota.
• Face-Fit testing required (clean-shaven; exemptions apply).

Responsibilities

• Repairs and fault finding across local domestic systems.
• Carry out EICRs, PAT testing, and issue certificates.
• Adhere to BS 7671 (Part P) regulations and report safety defects.
• Log jobs digitally via mobile/PDA and manage van stock.
