Job summary

Gilmartins is seeking an experienced Domestic Electrician to perform repairs and maintenance across social housing properties in North London, including Brent, Barnet and Harrow. You will work to Scopes of Works on PDA for each job and must hold a manual driving licence, DBS, ECS card and own tools.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with social housing experience preferred.

Job description

We are recruiting an experienced Domestic Electricians qualified to:

• 2365 Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent electrician qualification)
• BS7671:2018 Wiring Regulations for 18th Edition
• 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification (ideally)

Gilmartins work in social housing and provide reactive repairs for local authorities and housing associations. The ideal person will have worked in social housing previously.

The job requires work and travel across North London including areas, Brent, Barnet and Harrow.

Properties for this well-known Housing Association are situated across all of these areas so there will be regular travel as a requirement of the job.

Hours of work are 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 Saturday or Sunday in 4 required on a rota basis paid extra to salary, call-outs once every 4 weeks from Monday to Sunday, 5pm to 1am (£35-£50 per call out)
