Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking an Electrician in social housing to perform high-quality electrical repairs and replacements within our Social Housing properties. The role offers stability and meaningful work within a supportive team.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to 18th edition and AM2 (NICEIC NVQ3 preferred) with experience in PV, EV charging, and retrofit knowledge being advantageous. A competitive salary is offered with weekly pay and a company van and fuel card.

Qualifications

• Qualified to 18th edition and AM2, preferably NICEIC registered NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
• AM2, BS7671:2018 and related qualifications.
• Experience with Solar PV, EV charging, battery storage and PAS 2030 Retrofit knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out fault finding and responsive repairs on tenanted Social Housing properties.
• Replacing MCBs and circuit breakers, rewires, emergency and external lighting, switches, minor installations, shower repairs and replacements, smoke alarms, extractor fans, testing and re-certification.
• Working from job tickets or a handheld device daily.

Job description

We are looking for a Electrician in social housing to carry out, Repairs and Voids division, providing high-quality electrical repair and replacement services within Social Housing properties.

This role will support you, value your skills, give you stability, whilst keeping your work interesting and meaningful.

Job Requirements:

• Carrying out fault finding & responsive repairs on tenanted Social Housing properties.
• Works include but are not limited to replacing MCB - circuit breakers, rewires, emergency and external lighting, switches, minor installations, shower repairs and replacements, smoke alarms, extractor fans, testing, inspecting and re-certification, certificating all works.
• Working from job tickets or a handheld device daily.

Qualifications requirements:

• Qualified to 18th edition and AM2, preferably NICEIC registered NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
• (or equivalent) AM2, BS7671:2018 and #removed# (or equivalent).
• Solar PV, EV Charging, battery storage and domestic ventilation. And PAS 2030 Retrofit knowlege and qualifications are advantageous.
