Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to work in Kingston and surrounding areas. You will perform electrical maintenance, repairs and installations in social housing properties, using a company van and fuel card. You will rewire homes, fault find, inspect and test systems, and ensure safety standards are met.

Required qualifications include 18th Edition, 2391, NVQ Level 3, and a full UK driving licence. DBS clearance is expected.

Qualifications

18th Edition is required.
2391(Preamble) is required.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is required.
Experience in Residential Maintenance.
Good social/communication skills.
Ability to pass DBS check is required.
Full UK Driving Licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Repair electric parts in homes.
Install electrical components and fittings.
Fit wires, sockets and switches in homes.
Rewire homes as needed.
Perform fault finding and diagnostics.
Change sockets and electrical fittings.
Inspect and test electrical installations.
