Job summary

Sanctuary Maintenance Contractors Limited is seeking an Electrician to join the Rochford team. The role involves inspection and testing on occupied properties, producing Electrical Condition Reports, and carrying out remedial works.

You will be provided with a company van and power tools; training will be provided as required. Candidates must hold 18th Edition qualifications (3rd/4th amendment), NVQ Level 3 in core electrics, City & Guilds 2391-52, and AM2 or be currently undertaking them.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified to 18th Edition - 3rd and 4th amendment, NVQ Level 3 in core electrics, City & Guilds 2391-52 and AM2.
• Must bring original certification to interview; copies not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out installation, fault fixing and maintenance duties per contract and service specs.
• Provide accurate progress updates and keep customers informed.
• Respond to complaints and breakdowns to meet customer expectations.
• Ensure tools/equipment are maintained and stock is replenished.

Based at Rumsey House, Rochford - Working across Rochford, Basildon and surrounding areas

£43,251 - £45,528 per year

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 16:30pm

We have an opportunity for an Electrician to join our team based in Rochford. You will work as part of a team as well as lone working. Responsibilities include, inspection and testing on occupied properties and producing Electrical Condition Reports, as well as remedial works. You will be provided with a company van and power tools, training will be provided as and when required.

The role of Electrician will include:

• Carrying out installation, fault fixing and maintenance duties in accordance with contract and service specifications
• Providing accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed
• Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations, in accordance with contract and service specifications
• Resolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed in line with agreed processes and within contract and service specifications
• Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed, in accordance with the agreed requisition procedures and budgets

Skills and experiences:

• To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to 18th Edition - 3rd and 4th amendment, NVQ Level 3 in core electrics, City & Guilds 2391-52 and AM2. Or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
• Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation. Analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills along with a customer focused approach.
• This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
