Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is recruiting an Electrician to join a well-established property maintenance contractor delivering electrical testing across social housing in Derby, Leicester and Nottingham. The role involves completing three EICRs daily, testing and inspecting electrical systems in occupied homes, with travel across the area.

Candidates should have NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent, 18th Edition, 2391 and at least two years in social housing, plus a full UK driving licence

Qualifications

• 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification.
• At least two years' experience working within social housing.
• A full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel

Job description

Enjoy a permanent Electrician role with a company van, fuel card, test kit and uniform provided from day one. Join a well-established property maintenance contractor delivering electrical testing across social housing properties throughout Derby, Leicester and Nottingham.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Electrician looking for consistent EICR work, completing three EICRs per day. Although travel is required, the team aims to keep your workload within around an hour of your home address wherever possible.

I'd love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as an Electrician, Electrical Tester or EICR Engineer within social housing.

As an Electrician, you will be:

• Completing three EICRs per day
• Carrying out electrical testing and inspections
• Working across occupied social housing properties
• Travelling across Derby, Leicester, Nottingham and surrounding areas
• Ensuring all testing is completed accurately and to current regulations

This role is offering a salary of around £43,000 - £47,000 per year, with the opportunity to increase your earnings through the bonus scheme after your first three months.

Location & travel

This Electrician position covers Derby, Leicester, Nottingham and surrounding areas. Travel is part of the role, although work is planned with the aim of keeping you within approximately one hour of your home address wherever possible.
