Overview

Due to growth we are recruiting for Maintenance Electricians on behalf of a well-known and successful FM and HVAC contractor. Operating over 10 years, they have over 200 staff and multiple offices in the UK. They cover sectors including Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, Local Government & Retail, with a large client portfolio including Aldi, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Defence, Schools and NHS. As the Electrician, you will join the service and maintenance team working on commercial sites covering the North East, predominantly between Newcastle and Middlesbrough. This is a permanent position, covering the North East to York, paying £42k per annum. Perks include a van and fuel card. Private use of the van is allowed. Plenty of overtime and weekend work available. There is a bonus scheme, pension and 21 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Training and development opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • To ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPMs are completed within the contract defined time SLA’s and KPI’s.
  • Also able to carry out installation work when required.
  • Ensure the Client, Customer and Team are kept in the loop through feedback and regular updates.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a quality service, aiming for 100% satisfaction of the Customer.
  • Communicate daily with helpdesk/Supervisor regarding status of PPM and Reactive tasks.
  • To ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working within FM or the building maintenance industry.
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Strong, demonstrable competencies in building services trades.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • An excellent understanding of Health and Safety.
  • Competent in the use of computers and data handling including Microsoft Office systems.
