Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Electrical Qualification and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience carrying out electrical maintenance in healthcare or commercial settings.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities with safety at the forefront.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures and site practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and electrical faults.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues efficiently and safely.
• Complete minor installation and remedial works where required.
• Conduct testing, inspection and fault-finding activities.
• Ensure all work complies with current regulations and site procedures.
• Accurately complete maintenance documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to maintain a safe healthcare facility.

This role will involve carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a busy hospital estate, helping to ensure critical electrical systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and electrical faults.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues efficiently and safely.
• Complete minor installation and remedial works where required.
• Conduct testing, inspection, and fault-finding activities.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current regulations and site procedures.
• Accurately complete maintenance documentation and reports.
• Work closely with the wider engineering team to maintain a safe and reliable healthcare facility.
