Job summary

A leading electrical services company is seeking an experienced Static Electrician in Crystal Palace for an initial 3-week contract. You will be providing a premium service in a leisure venue, performing various tasks including planned preventative maintenance, fault finding, and subcontractor management. Candidates should have a strong understanding of health and safety, along with valid 18th Edition Wiring regulations. This position offers an hourly rate between £15.38 and £17.39, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in fault finding for mains power distribution, control boards, and lighting circuits.
• Robust understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
• Experience issuing Permits to Work (PTW) beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance including emergency lighting tests.
• Carry out physical fault finding as required.
• Manage subcontractors and handle deliveries.

Static Electrician

Locations: Crystal Palace

3 Week Contract Initially

Hourly rate: £15.38 - £17.39

Monday to Friday 40 hrs

Urgently looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician to deliver a highly professional, customer focused service for our client based in South West London

Duties

The main focus of the PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) work will primarily focus on but not limited to the following types of works: Emergency lighting tests, Tap temperatures, distribution board inspection, FCU maintenance, air handling units, subcontractor management, moving of materials / deliveries as required.

There will be a variety of reactive jobs which will stem out of the above but again not be limited to the above.

Physical fault finding as required.

Criteria

• 18th Edition Wiring regs. Level 1,2,3
• Experienced fault finding skills in mains – power distribution circuits, control boards, lighting circuits faults etc.
• Experience in a leisure/public venue environment (Desirable)
• A robust understanding of Health and Safety is required.
• Knowledge of the Permit to Work system & experience issuing PTW would also be beneficial.
