Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a facilities maintenance professional in Glasgow to undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works and supervise contractors to ensure high standards and safe, efficient delivery of all contracted services.

Responsibilities include evaluating performance, maintaining equipment, and delivering works on time and within budget. A full clean driving licence and IT tasks on handheld devices are required. An electrical apprenticeship or equivalent is essential.

Qualifications

  • Craft qualification such as City & Guilds 2350 NVQ or equivalent.
  • Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering + AM2.
  • Wiring regs qualification (2381-18) with current grade card/CSCS or equivalent.

  • To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
  • Working in a safe manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation
  • The successful candidate must provide a significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and must, therefore, play its part in the overall delivery of service.
  • The candidate will support with the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services ensuring that all works are delivered safely on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

About The Role

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday 08:00-16:30

Hiring Criteria
  • Previous experience working within Facilities Management would be ideal
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Able to carry out basic IT tasks on handheld devices.
Essential Qualifications
  • A craft qualification such as a recognised electrical apprenticeship such as or equivalent to City & Guilds 2350 NVQ
  • Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering + AM2
  • The current wiring regulations qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2381-18 Level 3 Award (18th Edition)Valid and in date Grade card/CSCS Card or equivalent qualification.
Desirable Qualifications
  • An Inspection & Testing qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations
