Job summary

Vox Network Consultants is seeking an experienced Electrician to join a busy repairs and maintenance team on a 3-month ongoing contract in North Northamptonshire. You will perform electrical repairs in occupied and void social housing properties, conduct testing and inspection, and maintain compliance with regulations.

The role requires City & Guilds qualifications, experience in social housing or property maintenance, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2382 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience in social housing, property maintenance or similar.
• Competent testing and inspection works.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (mileage paid) or company vehicle may be available.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical repairs and remedial works across occupied and void residential properties.
• Complete testing and inspection works in line with current regulations.
• Undertake minor rewiring works within void properties where required.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs to high workmanship standards.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical regulations and health & safety legislation.
• Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota (1 week in every 4).

North Northamptonshire £25.78 per hour (Umbrella) 3-Month Ongoing Contract 37 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday

A leading Local Authority is looking for an experienced Electrician to join their busy repairs and maintenance team on a 3-month ongoing contract.

Working across occupied and void social housing properties, you'll carry out a range of electrical repairs, remedial works, testing and inspection, helping to maintain safe, compliant homes for residents.

• Carry out electrical repairs and remedial works across occupied and void residential properties.
• Complete testing and inspection works in line with current regulations.

About You
