Job summary

Mears Group PLC is seeking an Electrician in Coatbridge for a full-time, permanent role with a 08:00–16:30 schedule. You will join the reactive maintenance team at tenanted properties, handling remedial repairs, lighting, comfort fixes, and partial rewires.

NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 17th/18th Edition are required; 2391/2 qualification advantageous. Company vehicle provided along with extensive benefits and training.

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation is required.
  • SVQ 17th or 18th Edition is required.
  • 2391/2 Inspection and Testing qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Attend to reactive maintenance jobs in tenanted properties; remedial repairs, light switches, fan fixing, showers, trip switches, partial rewires.
  • Provide high level of customer service while working in tenanted properties.

About The Role

We are looking for an Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis.

You will be working with the reactive maintenance team and will work off your PDA, attending to all jobs that are created; Remedial repairs, Light Switches, Fan Fixing, fixing showers, Trip switches, some partial rewires.

You will be attending tenanted properties so a high level of customer service will be expected.

Key Criteria
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
  • SVQ 17th or 18th Edition
  • Having an Inspection and Testing 2391/2 qualification would be advantageous

It would be advantageous to have worked in domestic and or social housing previously.

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
