Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking an Electrician to join a busy commercial maintenance team in Shefford, Bedfordshire. The role runs Monday to Friday, 07:30 AM to 4:00 PM on a 3-month contract with temp-to-perm potential.

You will handle minor installations, reactive maintenance, PPMs, and occasional re-wires. A vehicle is required with mileage paid; hourly pay is £20.71 with a salary equivalent after 12 weeks (£43,076.80) under PAYE.

Qualifications

• JIB Gold card is required.
• 18th Edition compliant.
• 2391 Test & Inspection is desirable.
• Clean DBS certificate is required.
• Clearance to be obtained upon successful interview.

Responsibilities

• Carry out minor installations.
• Perform reactive maintenance and planned preventive maintenance (PPMs).
• Complete rewiring tasks as required.
