Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking an Electrician specializing in EICR Testing to perform electrical inspections and testing across social housing properties in Bournemouth, Salisbury and nearby areas. You will diagnose faults, recommend remedial works and complete certifications to high standards while ensuring compliance with current regulations.

This is a permanent role offering a clear career path in a stable contractor environment.

Qualifications

• 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification is required.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation is required.
• AM2 and 18th Edition are desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and DBS check are required.
• Strong EICR testing and inspection experience in social housing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out EICR testing across social housing properties.
• Complete electrical inspections and testing to high standards.
• Identify faults and recommend remedial works.
• Complete certification accurately and to current regulations.
• Travel across Bournemouth, Salisbury and surrounding areas.

Job description

Join a well-established social housing contractor on a permanent contract as an Electrician - EICR Testing, carrying out electrical inspections and testing across Bournemouth, Salisbury and the surrounding areas.

I’d love to hear from anyone with experience in EICR testing, electrical inspection, social housing or domestic electrical repairs.

The Electrician role is offering:

• £36,000-£38,000 per year
• Company van and fuel card

As an Electrician, you will be:

• Carrying out EICR testing across social housing properties
• Completing electrical inspections and testing
• Identifying electrical faults and recommending remedial works
• Completing electrical certification accurately and to a high standard
• Ensuring all work complies with current electrical regulations and safety standards
• Working across both occupied and empty properties
• Travelling across Bournemouth, Salisbury and the surrounding areas
