Job summary

Proman is recruiting experienced electricians to work across Belfast and County Antrim. This role covers electrical installation, maintenance, testing and repair for residential and commercial properties, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Wages are paid at £27.00 per hour (CIS) for 40 hours weekly, with 8:00am–5:00pm shifts, plus a 60-minute unpaid break. Start ASAP with ongoing duration until 31 December 2026 across multiple sites in BT15 3 and nearby areas.

Qualifications

• Gold ECS Card required.
• Asbestos Awareness Certificate required.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) required.
• Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671 (Latest Edition) required.
• Full UK/NI Driving Licence required.
• DBS Check required.
• Strong Health & Safety knowledge in construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safe isolation procedures in line with industry standards and company processes.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring systems, equipment, and accessories.
• Conduct inspection and testing of fixed wiring systems per BS 7671.
• Perform Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
• Inspect and test in-service electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify faults using multifunction testers and specialist equipment.
• Install, commission, and maintain fire detection and fire alarm systems to BS 5839-6 standards.
• Collaborate with other trades and site teams to deliver projects efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and electrical regulations.
• Deliver excellent customer service with high-quality workmanship.
