Job summary

Derby Homes is recruiting for an Electrical Servicing team member to support the Electrical Upgrade and Servicing across Derby. The role is 37 hours per week on a temporary maternity cover basis, located at London Road Depot, with two positions available.

You will contribute to delivering high-quality electrical services, with flexible working and opportunities for CPD. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, strong customer service, and a passion for high standards.

  • Maintaining and scheduling diaries for works and training.
  • Customer liaison.

You will be part of a team responsible for the Electrical Servicing and Electrical Upgrade work across the city. Core duties will include

  • Planning Electrical Safety Checks (EICR's) to ensure the works are completed before the due date has expired.
  • Communicating with stakeholders when dealing with properties that are difficult to access, working in conjunction with Derby Homes no access procedure.
  • Gathering and presenting evidence of no access attempts for escalation.
  • Providing monthly reports.
  • Maintaining and scheduling of diaries on a daily basis ensuring planning of works and training etc.
  • Customer liaison.
