Job summary

A leading Defence and Aerospace company in Oxfordshire is seeking an Electrical Test Operations Engineer for a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleanrooms and test operations, executing complex electrical tests on spacecraft systems. You will be involved in preparing and validating test procedures while working with advanced testing equipment. Qualifications

• Experience working in cleanrooms is preferred.
• Experience in Electrical and Functional testing is essential.
• Knowledge of spacecraft systems is advantageous.

Electrical Test Operations Engineer

12 month contract

As the Electrical Test Operations Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. You will be involved in :

• Execution of Electrical and Functional test procedures on Engineering test benches and flight spacecraft
• Use of the Central Checkout System (CCS), Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and Spacecraft Check Out Equipment (SCOE) to support the test activities
• Validation of test aids, breakout boxes, cables etc.
• Test procedure updates, raising work orders, test reports, and other test documentation
• Support in the development and debug of Automatic Test procedures (ATP) using a bespoke high-level Software language to test the spacecraft subsystems on a Satellite Simulator, test bench, or the spacecraft
