Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in the United Kingdom is seeking a Test & Inspection Electrician to inspect, test, certify, fault diagnose and maintain electrical systems across client facilities. You will perform EICRs to BS 7671, initial verifications, periodic testing, produce reports, and ensure compliance and safety while delivering a professional service with minimal disruption.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, recognised electrical qualifications and a full UK

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• NVQ/SVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical inspection, testing and maintenance.
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel across sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out EICRs in accordance with BS 7671 and related standards.
• Perform Initial Verification and certification of new installations.
• Complete Periodic Inspection and Testing of electrical systems.
• Identify defects, non-conformances and advise remedial work.
• Diagnose faults safely and provide effective resolutions.
• Maintain accurate reports and test documentation for audits.
• Ensure works comply with Electricity at Work Regulations and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers and site management to deliver planned works.
