Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc. in Aberdeen is seeking a Test and Run Technician to perform basic electrical and functionality testing, service and clean equipment returned from hire to ensure it is safe and presentable for the next customer.

You’ll work in a busy depot environment, with the chance to learn on the job and progress through our in-house training courses as part of Speedy’s commitment to people development and ESG initiatives.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical skills (12/24v).
• Basic mechanical skills and the ability to use tools effectively.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Previous experience working within the hire industry or other engineering field is desirable.
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical and functionality testing on returned equipment.
• Service and clean products to ensure safety and presentability for the next customer.
• Work in the depot environment supporting timely operations and quality standards.
• Learnt through Speedy’s in-house training courses and contribute to continuous improvement.
