Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc. in the UK is seeking a Test and Run Technician in Poole to perform basic electrical and functionality testing, service and clean products returned from hire, ensuring they are safe and presentable for the next customer.

The role offers 42 hours per week (Mon-Fri 07:30-17:00) with a salary of £29,572 per annum pro rata, plus training and development opportunities and a strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Basic electrical skills (12/24v) required.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Previous experience in hire industry or engineering field is desirable.
• Ability to support ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical and functionality testing of equipment.
• Service and clean return items to ensure safety and presentability for next customer.
• Assist in depot operations and support team as needed.
