Job summary

Speedy Group UK&I is seeking a Test and Run Technician to perform basic electrical and functionality testing, and to service and clean products returned from hire to ensure they are safe and presentable for the next customer.

This busy depot role offers training through our in-house programmes and a clear path to developing a career in engineering, with opportunities for work-life balance and progression within the Speedy Group.

• Basic electrical skills (12/24v).
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools effectively.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Previous experience in the hire industry or other engineering field is desirable.

• Service and clean products returned from hire to ensure safety and presentability.
• Prepare items for the next customer in a ready-to-rent condition.

Job Title - Test and Run Technician

Working Hours - Monday to Friday - 07:30 - 17:00 - 42 hours per week

Salary £29,572 per annum pro rata

The role of a Test and Run Technician is a busy and productive role in the depot, performing basic electrical and functionality testing as well as servicing and cleaning products returned from hire to ensure they are safe and presentable, ready for the next customer to take away.

What you’ll need:

• Basic electrical skills (12/24v)
• Basic mechanical skills and the ability to use tools effectively
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Previous experience working within the hire industry or other engineering field is desirable
