Job summary

Speedy Hire Plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Test and Run Technician to join our Poole depot. You will perform basic electrical and functionality testing, service and clean items returned from hire to ensure they are safe and ready for the next customer.

This role supports our in-house training and development programs. Working Monday to Friday, 07:30–17:00 (42 hours per week), you will contribute to a culture of quality and safety while developing skills across electrical and mechanical

Qualifications

Basic electrical skills (12/24v).
Basic mechanical skills and the ability to use tools effectively.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Previous experience working within the hire industry or other engineering field is desirable.
Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

Perform basic electrical and functionality testing on equipment.
Service and clean products returned from hire to ensure safety and presentability.
Ensure items are ready for the next customer to take away.
