Job summary

YTL UK is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our EM&I team supporting sewage treatment sites around Yeovil and Taunton. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on plant equipment and assist with small installation projects.

You'll need City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 (or time-served) and a can-do attitude; travel between sites is required and occasional out-of-hours standby. A pathway to PLC programming and further training is available.

Qualifications

• Three-phase and single-phase power & control systems experience.
• City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or time-served apprenticeship.
• Excellent health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-planned and reactive maintenance on sewage treatment plant and related equipment.
• Handle fault finding, diagnosis and resolution to maintain operations.
• Assist with small installation projects and continuous improvements across sites.
• Be flexible with standby rota and travel between Yeovil and Taunton sites.
