Job Title: Electrical Technician

Reporting to: Automation & Machine Build Manager

Working with: Automation Team

Role Contribution: The successful candidate will apply principles of electronics, electrical circuitry, testing, pneumatics, and automation across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve project milestones within time and budget constraints.
  • Provide efficient, courteous service/support to customers.
  • Liaise between customers and management to ensure smooth information flow.
  • Maintain, repair, and service equipment in a safe, tidy, and efficient environment.
  • Work with DC Systems in cleanroom environments and with automated assemblies.
  • Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electrical, pneumatic, electronic components, and systems.
  • Evaluate, calibrate, and test new or modified equipment circuits.
  • Assemble or modify systems following engineering instructions and manuals.
  • Complete all related paperwork and documentation.
  • Follow health, safety, and quality procedures.
  • Promote FAST Technologies Ltd.'s capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Essential: HNC Electrical Engineering, City & Guilds Electrical Engineering, or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent

Desirable:

  • Experience designing/building electrical control panels
  • Experience maintaining/troubleshooting industrial control or PLC systems
  • Experience with Siemens TIA platform
