Overview

We are seeking an Engineering Technician - Electrical at The Highfield Hospital in Rochdale, part of Circle Health Group, a leading provider of independent healthcare in the UK. This full-time role offers a salary up to £36,500, depending on experience, with a flexible shift pattern and on-call duties.

Responsibilities include:

• Completing work orders for maintenance, reactive, and remedial tasks.
• Providing engineering maintenance and breakdown support.
• Supporting health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Training and mentoring other technicians.
• Advising hospital managers on engineering issues.
• Upholding high engineering standards and a positive team environment.
• Completing mandatory training.

Candidate Requirements:

• Current CSCS Card; ECS Card if qualified electrically.
• City & Guilds, ONC, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Willingness to act as AP and RP Medgas.
• Apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety guidelines, ACOPs, and Legionella regulations.
• Strong organizational and fault-finding skills.
