Ganymede Solutions - Electrical Technician Role

Ganymede Solutions is collaborating with one of the largest UK Train Operating Companies to recruit an Electrical Technician for their modifications programme at Manchester International Depot. We are an AIM-listed recruitment agency specializing in transportation, infrastructure, construction, and engineering sectors.

You will work on a multi-million-pound digitalisation upgrade project, focusing on digital equipment installations and modifications across the fleet.

The Role:

As an Electrical Technician, your responsibilities will include:

1. Electrical installations and testing for digital modifications
2. Wi-Fi, Ethernet backbone, NVR/CCTV, passenger information systems, USB sockets, and driver cab upgrades

The position is days only, Monday to Friday, with a standard 50-hour workweek.

Requirements:

• Minimum C&G/NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification
• At least 3 years of rolling stock experience
• Clear communication skills and proactive team support
• Availability to start between 26th May and 2nd June
• Ability to pass Drugs & Alcohol test and a full railway medical (vision, hearing, color vision, heart, lungs, brain, etc.)
• Provision of Right to Work documents before deployment
• Positive attitude and willingness to help
