TITLE:

Electrical Technician

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To build and install equipment for the renewables market. Electrical fit-out and cable fitting.

REPORTING TO:

Electrical Shopfloor Manager

HOURS OF ROLE:

37 hours (4-day week. Mon -Thurs or Tues – Fri)

Wallyford, East Lothian

DUTIES:

• Assembling electrical cabinets and panels
• ATEX installations under complex regulations
• Supporting installation and commissioning of systems in the factory and onsite
• Working safely with high voltage and current AC and DC equipment
• Maintaining housekeeping of all work areas
• Following H&S, quality, and environmental procedures
• Reporting incidents, spillages, etc., to the Electrical Shopfloor Manager
• Supporting the customer services team

MAIN DELIVERABLES IN ROLE:

• Assembly/testing of electrical parts of hydrogen equipment
• Maintaining a safe and clean workspace
• Working to tight deadlines
