Job summary

Equans is seeking a Technical Services Manager (Electrical) to lead the Wakefield hospital maintenance teams on a permanent basis. This senior role reports to the Engineering Manager and covers 24/7 on-call responsibilities, subcontractor coordination and delivery of contracted services.

You will drive improvements, ensure SLA adherence, manage safety and compliance, and liaise with NHS stakeholders to deliver a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Proven managerial experience in technical services.
• Electrical bias with healthcare exposure preferred.
• AP appointments for HV/LV Electrical Systems desired.
• Demonstrates technical leadership and DBS clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead site maintenance teams and specialist subcontractors.
• Ensure on-site operations meet Contract SLAs and local procedures.
• Coordinate 24/7 on-call rota and escalation processes.
• Oversee use of Maximo CAFM for maintenance tasks.
• Control spares, procurement, and daily service delivery.
