Job summary

Churches Fire & Security is seeking an Electrical Systems Technician to service, maintain and carry out small works on sites across the region. You will handle fire and security systems and emergency lighting, with a focus on first-fix fault finding and adherence to British Standards.

The ideal candidate brings knowledge of FIA units 1 and 5, solid experience with fire, intruder, CCTV and access control systems, and a proactive, customer-facing approach.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of British Standards required.
• Experience with Fire systems, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control.
• Outgoing, proactive personality aligned with company values.
• Willingness to work out of hours.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and small works on sites within your post code area.
• Work with fire and security systems and emergency lighting – fire biased technician.
• Fault finding to conduct a first fix where possible.
• Work to British Standards at all times and maintain customer relations.

The Role

• To carry out servicing, maintenance and small works on a range of sites within your post coded area
• To work with a varied amount of both fire and security systems and emergency lights – fire biased technician
• Fault finding to conduct a 1st fix solution where possible
• To work to the British Standards at all times
• You will be customer facing to maintaining a good reputation on behalf of Churches Fire is a must.

The Candidate

• Good knowledge of the British Standards
• Knowledge of FIA units 1 + 5
• Experience in both Fire Systems, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control
• You must have an outgoing and proactive personality to manage own work and exhibit the company’s vision and values
