Job summary

SiteCharge is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead the deployment of mobile Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) on a national infrastructure project (Lower Thames Crossing). You will manage earthing points, testing, and permits, coordinating with Tier 1 contractors and civils teams to keep works on schedule.

You will deliver daily briefings, maintain safety records, and ensure compliance with electrical safe systems of work.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or leadership experience in construction or energy projects.
• Strong communication and planning abilities.
• Reliable, safety-conscious with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with site foremen to ensure plant and equipment are charged and available when required.
• Install earthing rods and earthing pits in accordance with project specifications.
• Deliver daily briefings and provide operational updates to the Operations Manager.
• Conduct testing and inspection of earthing points and electrical installations.
• Complete project documentation, including daily diaries, test sheets, and inspection records.
• Issue digital permits in compliance with site and organisational procedures.
• Undertake site surveys to support planning and delivery of project works; maintain health, safety and compliance.
• Adhere strictly to approved processes and procedures, ensuring no shortcuts are taken.
