Job summary

Serco, at RNAS Yeovilton, is seeking a Supervisor (Electrical) to lead maintenance and support for Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (A/GSE), Operational Support Machinery Equipment (OSME) and related assets in a highly regulated aviation environment.

You’ll deliver Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) services across the air station, drive safety and compliance, mentor colleagues and help sustain operational capability with a focus on continuous improvement and high standards of performance.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) certification.
• Experience in engineering, aircraft servicing, or similar technical environment.
• Strong understanding of Health and Safety requirements, including COSHH.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and support of A/GSE, OSME, and related equipment.
• Deliver PAT services across the air station.
• Ensure contracted tasks are completed safely, compliantly, and per procedures.
• Support Senior Supervisor to maintain efficient operations and meet contractual commitments.
• Monitor risks, quality issues, and engineering events with reporting and corrective actions.
• Mentor and train colleagues and promote continuous improvement.
