Serco, at RNAS Yeovilton, is seeking a Supervisor (Electrical) to lead maintenance and support for Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (A/GSE), Operational Support Machinery Equipment (OSME) and related assets in a highly regulated aviation environment.
You’ll deliver Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) services across the air station, drive safety and compliance, mentor colleagues and help sustain operational capability with a focus on continuous improvement and high standards of performance.

As a Supervisor (Electrical) in our Airfield Engineering and Support Services (AESAS) team, you’ll provide maintenance and engineering support for Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (A/GSE), Operational Support Machinery Equipment (OSME), and other specialist equipment within a highly regulated aviation environment. Your work will help ensure critical equipment remains safe, compliant, and ready to support operational delivery.
By maintaining essential support equipment and delivering Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) services across the air station, you’ll play an important role in supporting operational capability, safety, and performance. This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves verifying your identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record to meet government security standards. In addition, depending on the nature of the role, you may need to obtain formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
