Job summary

Serco Limited is seeking a Supervisor Aircraft Engineer (Mechanical) at RNAS Culdrose, Helston. You will oversee mechanical aircraft systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor teammates to maintain airworthiness and safety.

The role supports national defence capabilities, with a focus on safe, timely delivery of contracted tasks and adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Recognised supervisory qualification(s) on any aircraft type with experience on mechanical aircraft systems/components.
• Experience in aviation maintenance or related engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure employees are authorised to carry out contracted tasks per regulations and procedures.
• Ensure contracted tasks follow policy, regulatory standards, and statutory requirements.
• Monitor work to ensure safety, timeliness and quality.
• Flag risks, customer complaints and quality concerns to management.
• Support colleagues' development through training and mentoring.
• Promote Health & Safety, COSHH, tool control and quality practices.
