Job summary

SP Energy Networks, part of Iberdrola, seeks a Site Manager (Electrical) to lead substation projects across Central and Southern Scotland. You will oversee contractor performance, ensure safety and delivery to spec, and collaborate with engineers, QS and HSQE teams to keep works on schedule.

The role requires live-substation experience, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to solving technical challenges while maintaining quality and budget control.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical substations experience.
• HV construction, maintenance or commissioning exposure.
• Experience managing contractors on complex electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site activities across multiple fronts.
• Ensure contractor compliance with HSE and quality standards.
• Monitor progress against plans and milestones.
