Job summary

RECRUITMENT HELPLINE, based in Coulsdon, seeks an experienced Small Works Manager (Electrical) to run multiple projects, price works, and deliver on time and on budget. The role involves site visits, occasional overtime, and managing engineers and subcontractors.

You will be the main client contact from enquiry to handover, with a strong focus on margin protection and fast-paced delivery within occupied buildings.

Qualifications

• Time-served electrician with City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Experience in commercial electrical works and site pricing.
• Ability to price work from site surveys and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Attend site visits and surveys, often on short notice.
• Price and quote works up to around £50,000.
• Plan labour, materials and access; book works with clients.
• Manage multiple live jobs and coordinate engineers and subcontractors.
• Protect margin by pricing and agreeing variations.
• Be main client contact from enquiry to handover.
