Job summary

Bimplus is looking for an experienced Small Works Manager (Electrical) to oversee smaller projects from enquiry to handover in Coulsdon. You will visit sites, price works, plan resources, and ensure delivery on time and budget while coordinating engineers and subcontractors.

Role involves out-of-hours work paid as overtime. Desired experience includes finishing jobs under £50k, and driving licence is essential for site access and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Time-served electrician with City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3
• 18th Edition (C&G 2382) and ECS/JIB Gold Card
• Commercial electrical experience—offices, fit-out, banking, data centres or similar
• Able to price work from a site visit and drawings
• Experience supervising or pricing your own jobs, even on a smaller scale
• Organised, able to juggle several jobs, confident with clients
• Full UK driving licence
• Desirable: SSSTS/SMSTS, SimPro, IPAF/PASMA

Responsibilities

• Attend site, determine needs, price works and deliver on time and on budget
• Quote, plan labour, materials and access, and book works with clients
• Manage several live jobs simultaneously—engineers, subcontractors, deliveries and programme
• Protect margin by pricing and agreeing variations
• Be main point of contact for clients from enquiry through to handover
