Brief

Electrical Shift Engineers needed for a well known construction organisation. My client is on the look out for 2 Electrical Engineers one to be based out of Sutton and the other to be Chelsea based. They are on the look out for someone that takes pride in their work with their 2391 ticket and someone that holds a solid electrical background.

What the role entails:

Some of the main duties of the Electrical Shift Engineers will include:

• Make sure that all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) is performed in line with the maintenance specifications and recorded in real-time. Use the PDA to log start, wait, stop times
• Ensure certain necessary documentation concerning PPM, reactive, and breakdown tasks is finalised and promptly submitted to the contract administrator
• Complete reactive tasks across the sites and proactively identify areas where improvements can be implemented
• Identify and document all plant failures using quotation forms and submit them to the line manager. These should be marked and logged in the CAFM system
• It is crucial to promptly address plant faults and defects to keep the plant in a serviceable condition
• To undertake electrical test and inspection of electrical systems
• Attend the site in response to equipment breakdowns or failures outside of normal working hours (call-outs). Participate in the on-call rotation

What experience you need to be the successful Electrical Shift Engineers:

• Electrical City & Guilds or an equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Electrical inspection 2391
• BS7671 18th Edition
• Understanding how to read electrical drawings
• The ability to work under pressure is a crucial skill
• The capability to manage expectations of both customers and team members
• Must possess a full, clean UK driving licence
