Electrical Shift Engineer – Surrey – £47,000

Location: Hampshire (Farnborough)

Salary: £44,000 – £47,000 + £2500 Bonus

Hours: Continental 12 Hours

PRS Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer to work in a Commercial Office Building located in Hampshire. The ideal candidate will carry out daily plant room checks whilst helping to maintain the building's electrical services and support the maintenance of mechanical plant services.

This position would be ideal for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer currently in a similar position. In return, the company offers a competitive salary between £44,000 – £47,000 + £2500 Bonus.

Technical duties include; Emergency Lighting, Fault Finding, Wiring, Power Distribution, Sockets, Circuits, UPS, Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, Pumps, Motors, Belts, Fans, Boiler checks, Generator tests, etc. Daily duties also include other general building services.

Duties:

• Carrying out daily PPM and Reactive Maintenance tasks
• Carrying out daily emergency callout tasks
• Emergency lighting testing
• All Electrical work including lighting, wiring, testing, alarm systems, BMS, lighting systems, and Heat exchangers
• Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Air conditioning Systems including DX, Chilled water, and Adiabatic AHUs
• Generators and controls
• Ability to fault find on AHU, FCU, UPS, Generators

Requirements:

• Trade trained with ideally 3 years’ experience in building services
• City & Guilds Qualified Electrical Level 3
