Qualifications

• Significant experience in a sales/account management role within the electrical industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical products and the relevant market.
• Proven track record of developing customer accounts and delivering sales targets.
• Excellent customer service, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the competitive landscape.
• Confident CRM user with good Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent time management, organisation and reporting skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to support a busy branch environment.
• Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and existing customer accounts to achieve sales and gross margin targets.
• Build strong, long-term customer relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
• Produce and follow up quotations, converting opportunities into sales.
• Promote electrical products, strategic suppliers and company initiatives.
• Work closely with purchasing and warehouse teams to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records across CRM and ERP systems.
• Contribute to branch growth, profitability and overall team performance.
• Support the day-to-day running of the branch and assist colleagues where required.
