Job summary

Redline Group Ltd is seeking an Internal Sales Representative to join our client’s team in Southampton on a permanent basis. This hands-on sales role focuses on developing new and existing customer accounts, achieving sales and margin targets, and supporting the wider branch operation.

You will build lasting relationships, produce quotations, and promote electrical products and initiatives while collaborating with purchasing and warehouse teams to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a sales/account management role within the electrical industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical products and market.
• Proven track record of developing customer accounts and achieving sales targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and existing customer accounts to achieve sales and gross margin targets.
• Build strong, long-term customer relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
• Produce and follow up quotations, converting opportunities into sales.
• Promote electrical products, strategic suppliers and company initiatives.
• Work closely with purchasing and warehouse teams to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records across CRM and ERP systems.
• Contribute to branch growth, profitability and overall team performance.
• Support the day-to-day running of the branch and assist colleagues where required.
