Responsibilities

• Determine the competence and suitability of persons undertaking LV work, verify qualifications and authorisations, review risk assessments and method statements, define electrical safety boundaries and prevent unauthorised access or unsafe activity.
• Lead and coordinate planned shutdowns, emergency switching and restoration of electrical supplies, liaising with clinical services, operational managers and other infrastructure leads to protect patient safety and service continuity.
