Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Estates/Technical Support role focused on providing technical support, coordinating plant maintenance, and ensuring HTM compliance. The post requires participation in the Estates On-Call rota and flexibility to cover shifts as needed.

The role collaborates with Electrical teams to maintain safe, compliant facilities. Applicants should be prepared to work alongside craftspeople, update planned maintenance systems, perform risk

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to staff on features and other aspects of their work.
• Carry out analytical and problem-solving techniques and document results.
• Oversee and coordinate efficient use of plant and assist craftspeople to repair, maintain and run plant and equipment.
• Assist in updating and operating the Planned Maintenance system and deliver delegated schemes within cost and schedule.
• Perform risk assessments and record results and actions.
• Participate in Estates On-Call Rota as a mandatory requirement.
• Act as authorised person for LV electrical to ensure Atlas/Trust compliance with HTMs.
• Able to work alternate hours and provide temporary cover for shifts.
• Support Electrical Officer/Specialist during leave or sickness, coordinating with Estates Officers and trade groups.

Job description

Provide technical support to others on the above features and other aspects of his/herwork. Carry out analytical and problem-solving techniques and document results. Assist in the-updating and operation of the Planned Maintenance system, anddelivery of delegated schemes within cost and program allowances. Perform risk assessments and record result and actions on File. It is a mandatory requirement to take part in the Estates On-Call Rota. Act as authorised person for (LV) Electrical to ensure the Atlas / Trust is compliantwith HTM's. Able to work alternative hours when required to meet the needs of the business,including providing temporary cover for established shifts.As required support Electrical Officer / Specialist in times of annual leave, sicknessetc. or as requested by the appropriate Estates Officer by working directly with therelevant trade group as Supervisor.
