Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Qualified Supervisor to lead the technical governance and operational delivery of electrical maintenance services across a major social housing portfolio in West London and Surrey.

You will supervise direct labour operatives and specialist subcontractors, ensure work complies with BS 7671, and manage safety, audits, and client reporting. The role includes on-call duties and coordinating with operations teams.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing required.
• 18th Edition BS 7671 regulations required.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• AM2 Assessment / Certificate of Competence required.
• Experience as QS or lead technical engineer in relevant settings.
• Experience delivering domestic electrical maintenance in social housing.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical governance and ensure compliance with BS 7671 and safety policies.
• Supervise direct labour operatives and subcontractors across West London.
• Coordinate scheduling, van stock, and SLAs; conduct site visits and audits.
• Maintain certification records, and liaise with client housing officers and managers.
• Prepare operational and performance reports for management reviews.
