Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Qualified Supervisor to lead technical governance and delivery of electrical maintenance across a major social housing portfolio in West London and Surrey. You will supervise direct labour and subcontractors, ensure compliance with BS 7671, and manage documentation and client communication.

The role involves on-site leadership, on-call support, and collaboration with operations teams to meet safety, quality, and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical maintenance teams in social housing or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and electrical safety standards.
• Proven ability to supervise direct labour and subcontractors.
• Experience in managing QA documentation and testing certificates.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Qualified Supervisors and validate electrical test documentation and certificates.
• Oversee scheduling, van stock, and SLA adherence using the MCM system.
• Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and quality audits to ensure safety and on-time delivery.
• Maintain asset care across fleet and equipment, including PPE and calibration.
• Support out-of-hours service delivery and emergency escalation workflows.
• Serve as technical point of contact for client housing officers and inspectors.
