Job Title: Electrical Project Manager - Rail Sector
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance
Location: Hybrid (Midlands-based with nationwide projects)
Sector: Rail (Rail experience required)
Overview:
We are working on behalf of a well-established M&E contractor with over 30 years in the industry. Due to a strong project pipeline in the rail sector, they're looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee key projects nationwide. This hybrid role offers flexibility, autonomy, and long-term career growth within a reputable business.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and deliver electrical packages on rail projects
Process project variations, RFIs and technical queries
Conduct material take-offs, order placements and better buying practices
Issue subcontract tenders and place orders in coordination with the QS
Manage direct labour and subcontractors in line with project timelines
Attend client and site meetings
Provide progress reports and updates to Contract Managers/Clients
Support the commercial team with input on valuations and applications
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager
Background in electrical construction
Experience in the rail sector is essential
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Current electrical qualifications
