Job Description:

SIG Plc is a leading supplier of specialist building materials to trade customers across Europe, with strong positions in its core markets as a distributor of insulation, interiors, roofing, and exteriors products.

We are currently recruiting a Project Sales Manager to grow sales opportunities on Nominated Major Projects in London & East Anglia.

What does the role involve?

  • Developing sales on major new build projects, supporting the head of Sector and local branches.
  • Managing relationships with existing and targeted new customers on projects, including developing and maintaining account plans to meet sales and margin targets.
  • Maintaining customer records and plans using company processes and CRM systems.
  • Managing projects by capturing all new tier-one contractors and subcontractors.
  • Building strong relationships with tier-one contractors and securing packages aligned with key supply partners.
  • Collaborating with branches, Sector heads, and specialist teams to enhance SIG's presence on projects.
  • Holding weekly on-site meetings with key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Customer-facing sales experience.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Account management experience is a plus but not essential.
  • Ability to win sales business.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Business acumen for managing customer portfolios proactively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
