Job summary

TDA Telecoms in Bromley is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial electrical projects from £20k to £1m. This role blends office tasks with onsite supervision, coordinating with clients and subcontractors to ensure timely, compliant delivery.

The successful candidate will manage electrical packages, maintain documentation, and lead project teams while upholding high safety and quality standards. Occasional travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial electrical projects (£20k–£1m).
• Knowledge of NICEIC regulations and working with NICEIC approved contractors is desirable.
• Experience with electrical installations and contractor design aspects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Basic computer skills, especially Excel for documentation and reporting.
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification is beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring budget, schedule, and quality adherence.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to plan and execute deliverables.
• Conduct periodic onsite visits to oversee installations and address issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards in all activities.
• Review electrical designs with design teams to meet project requirements.
• Maintain project documentation including progress reports and change orders.
• Use Excel to track metrics and facilitate communication.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams.
